Kami

Kami is an E-RYT 500 with several trainings under her belt. She currently teaches hatha, vinyasa, yin, nidra, and kundalini yoga.Kami’s yoga journey began in 2006, at 240 pounds she was looking for a way to aid her weightless journey and complement her regular workout routine. Kami joined some friends for a Bikram Hot Yoga class; she barely made it 10 minutes into class before laying on her mat for the other 80. Naturally, she decided this was exactly what she needed, within 30 days Kami noticed that not only had her body changed but so did she on a much deeper level. It was then that she knew sharing this practice was part of her life’s purpose. In 2009 Kami enrolled in her first 200 hour teacher training. Upon gradtuation she began teaching hatha yoga and managing a local studio. In 2012 Kami opened her first yoga studio in Kirkland, WA which she successfully ran for 5 years before selling it and focusing her attention to create the Best Bet Yoga Teacher Training School with her husband Chuck. In 2018 Kami and Chuck ran their first training and had the opportunity to open Spark Hot Yoga in Marysville. They both knew that the divine lead them exactly where they’re meant to be, creating community, and sharing the gift of yoga not only as yoga instructors but as educators. Kami is a firm believer that a teacher is always a student, she continues to take regular trainings to further her education.

Lynn

Hello! I’m Lynn and I’ve been a yoga instructor since 2017. I started my yoga journey in 2007 during college as a PE credit. That’s when I fell in love. Eventually, after many years of schooling, unfulfilling career, life and yoga classes, I decided to become a full time yoga instructor. It was after my first 30 day challenge that I recognized this was my life’s purpose. To share this practice, love and light with others.Since getting my 200HR I have also received certifications in Pranayama & Meditation, Buti Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Injury Prevention, Reiki Level 2, read more books than I can count and attended many workshops and continuing ed classes. My passion for this practice is to safely and wholeheartedly lead others to their own self love and healing. I firmly believe the best way to do that is through self work, practice and knowledge.I am currently working towards my RYT 500, teaching weekly group classes and private sessions, as well as the manager of my home studio, Spark Hot Yoga Marysville. It’s been such a beautiful and challenging journey, and I’m excited to share this amazing retreat experience with you all!
